- Visit the Parkesburg lot to walk through finished structures in person
- We’ll help you figure out the right size, style, and foundation type
- Discuss site access, permits, and HOA requirements upfront so there are no surprises later

Amish Build
Handcrafted in Parkesburg
Your structure is built by skilled Amish craftsmen at our Parkesburg facility. Every build uses LP SmartSide siding, 30-year architectural shingles, pressure-treated foundations, and SilverTech radiant barrier — standard, not upgrades.
- 4×4 pressure-treated runners + 2×4 floor joists on 12–16″ centers
- ¾″ AdvanTech flooring — water-resistant, won’t swell or delaminate
- LP SmartSide or vinyl siding with aluminum-coated trim
- 30-year GAF/IKO architectural shingles (metal roof available)
- SilverTech radiant barrier under every roof — cuts heat gain significantly
- Every structure inspected before it leaves the shop

Site Preparation
Get your property ready
While your structure is being built, prepare your site. Most customers use a stone pad foundation (our recommendation), but concrete pads and piers work too. We can arrange professional site prep if you prefer.
- Stone pad is the most popular — level gravel base that provides drainage and support
- Pad should be 2 feet wider and longer than your structure on all sides
- Clear overhanging branches, tree roots, and debris from the delivery path
- Minimum 14-foot-wide clear path for the delivery truck
- We arrange professional site prep through trusted local contractors

Delivery & Placement
Set up at your property
Our team delivers and places your structure using a specialized Shed Mule — a hydraulic trailer that can navigate tight spaces and set the building precisely where you want it. Most deliveries take under an hour on-site.
- Professional delivery crew handles everything — you just point where it goes
- Shed Mule places structures within inches of your desired location
- We level the structure on your pad and confirm everything is square
- Walk-through inspection with you before the crew leaves
- Delivery available throughout PA, NJ, DE, and MD — no hard outer boundary
Delivery & Placement
1–2 weeks after build
“The Shed Mule can navigate spaces as narrow as 10 feet wide. If your truck can reach it, we probably can too.”

What makes our process different.
Most shed companies sell you a product. We walk you through a process — because a $5K–$20K purchase deserves more than a shopping cart.
Amish-Built, Not Factory-Assembled
Every structure is handcrafted by skilled Amish builders — not assembled on a factory line from pre-cut kits. The difference shows in the joints, the finish, and the decades of performance.
10-Year Structural Warranty
We back every build with a 10-year structural warranty, plus manufacturer coverage on siding (5/50-year), shingles (25–30-year), and radiant barrier (20-year).
No Hidden Fees, Ever
Your quote is your price. We don’t add "delivery surcharges," "setup fees," or "documentation charges" after you commit. What you see is what you pay.
Real Lot, Real People
Visit our Parkesburg lot on Route 30 to walk through finished structures, talk to the people who build them, and see the materials firsthand. We’re not a website-only operation.
Premium Materials Standard
LP SmartSide siding, AdvanTech flooring, SilverTech radiant barrier, 30-year shingles, and pressure-treated foundations are included — not upgrades you pay extra for.
38 Years of Doing This
Since 1988, we’ve built and delivered over 5,000 structures. Third-generation family ownership means the people making decisions are the same people standing behind the work.
